Hi, I’m Gabriella.
A photographer based just outside of Salzburg, who loves capturing silver-frame
moments, celebrating the little joys in life, and helping other people remember those through photographs.
How it all started
I have no story of finding my parents‘ old cameras, spending my childhood in
darkrooms developing photos, or knowing from a young age on that this is what I
wanted to do in life.
Instead, photography found its way into my life at a much later stage. After using my sister’s camera on a holiday, I bought my first (pre-loved) DSLR with my own money. It was then that my love for capturing moments blossomed, and the decision was made that photography should become a part of my life. I took photos, knowing next to nothing about photography, other than that I loved it.
A few years after that, I read what another (much admired) photographer said in an
interview. It was something along the lines of „Switch to manual, and never look back. Your first 1000 photos will be bad, but eventually you will succeed.“ Read and done. He was right, of course. It took me more than a thousand terrible photos, but they taught me that continuing on this path was what I really wanted in life.
Now, here I am. Ready to share this passion with others. To help fill those silver frames that really were a part of my childhood, and are much cherished gifts in my husband’s and my own home.
I would love to help you hold onto those special little and big moments in life!
